namou is a Korean restaurant located in Paris.
Inspired by the Korean word namou (meaning “tree”), the space was designed to evoke a natural and warm atmosphere. With a total of 26 seats, the restaurant offers three distinct spatial experiences : intimate custom-made tables along the perimeter, a large central table custom-designed for a convivial dining experience, and areas filled with natural light overlooking the exterior.
The storage furniture is divided into display areas for tableware used in the restaurant and functional storage designed to support service flow. Glass panels maintain visual openness while subtly concealing the contents. All tables and furniture were custom-designed to fit the space, with the central table featuring a different wood tone to create contrast and visual balance. The counter and kitchen layout were conceived holistically, with circulation, equipment placement, and storage carefully planned to optimize workflow.
